The lifesize sculpture of a 1930s miner and son on the sons first day down the pit is coming on. This is the one for Derby and is to be installed towards the end of August. Its actually a bit further on than the picture shows, he has a hand and a lamp. The boy at the minute is a disembodied head with a lamp but he will be all there soon. |

First image of the Artsbank sponsored 12 foot figure. This was about 3 weeks into it and still a lot to do. The head was a major time draw but I'm pleased with the way it's going.
