See Me Dance

Well work has started on the big project. I need to keep details sketchy for the time being but there is an image of the first stage of work on the 'Current Projects' section so please take a look if you are curious. The job needs to be finished by the end of March which means busy time for me.

Also the Derby miner project is on the cards again and I have a meeting with the council and developers this week. Take nothing for granted is the mantra of the current times, so time will tell.

On the home front I had to suffer a very public humiliation. A few weeks ago Bev an I went to the Team Valley retail park and on arrival she went into one shop and I into another. As I came out of my shop I broke out the mobile phone to text her and find out where she was. I was quite engrossed in writing the message and because I insist on writing longhand with my oversized thumbs I hadn't noticed that I had strayed into the middle of a rather large ice patch.  It took me half a second to recognise my situation then the next two seconds were spent like a demented river dancer before my arse hit the ground. My wife says I cant multi task but I managed to text, dance, bounce, swear and then apologise for swearing to the family walking in the opposite direction all in about three seconds, I think I did quite well.
